Heated stones
The equipment and heating method must be prepared specifically for the appointment rather than improvised at arrival.
Warmth-led private treatment
Hot stone massage in Bali.
Hot stone massage is a defined treatment using smooth heated stones as part of an oil-based massage. It is not the same as the informal search phrase ‘hot massage’. Ritual arranges it by advance request because equipment and safe preparation must be confirmed.

What defines Hot stone massage?
Heat changes the sensation before stronger pressure is considered. Stones may be placed or used in movement according to the practitioner’s method, but the guest’s heat tolerance remains the controlling factor.
Oil-based massage
Flowing manual contact normally accompanies the stone work and can be adjusted separately.
Heat feedback
A stone that feels too hot must be removed immediately. Heat should never be endured to complete a sequence.
When to choose Hot stone massage
Choose hot stone when warmth is central to the experience. Choose aromatherapy when scent is the defining element, or deep tissue when sustained manual pressure on selected areas is the priority.
‘Hot massage’ can also be used online to mean sensual massage or a late-night appointment. Hot stone massage is the precise treatment name. Ritual keeps those intentions separate so the correct setup is booked.
Prepare the private appointment
Book in advance and disclose reduced heat sensitivity, neuropathy, circulation concerns, acute inflammation, pregnancy or other relevant conditions. The available practitioner and equipment must be confirmed for your location.
Daily, 10:00 – 24:00. Last booking 23:00. Transport: free in Seminyak; up to IDR 300,000 depending on location. Share the massage type, number of guests, therapist preference, requested time and accommodation area. Ritual confirms the practitioner, duration, setup and complete total before you book.
Hot stone massage questions
How long is the appointment and what does it cost?
Ask for the available duration and quote for this treatment. The complete amount, including any transport, is confirmed for your accommodation before you book; the signature ritual prices are not a price list for every massage.
Does the practitioner bring a massage table and products?
Tell us which space and furniture are available. Confirm whether a table is needed, which products will be used and who supplies each item before booking. Do not assume every private visit uses the same setup.
Can I request a female or male practitioner?
Yes. Include your preference, the number of guests and whether sessions should happen together or separately. The requested arrangement is available only once Ritual confirms it for your chosen date and location.
Can I book for today?
Send your preferred time and exact accommodation pin. Same-day slots depend on practitioner availability and travel arrangements; wait for confirmation rather than treating opening hours as a guaranteed slot.
How do I change or cancel a confirmed appointment?
Reply in the original WhatsApp conversation as soon as your plans change. Ask for the applicable change or cancellation terms before confirming; this page does not promise free cancellation.
